Where to buy linseed oil, wire wool, meths?

For a restoration project.....
I need to buy the above but don't have a hardware store nearby - where can I get this sort of stuff, preferaably cheaply? Would a DIY store do it?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post - I though the OS board might be a good place because I am making up an OS cleaning preparation! Vinegar will be added to the above, which kind of seals the OS argument, I hope....
Thanks very much
Annie

I would give Wilkinsons a try, they are pretty good for things like that.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I've been looking for linseed oil for ages. Every hardware store I go into has a little card on the shelf to say they stock it but none on the shelves themselves. Not sure why there is such a run on it at the minute in my area. You may be luckier in yours!0

All of those three items would be useful on a terrorist shopping list - MI5 may be watching future posts on this thread very carefully!!!0

Any good art shop will stock linseed oil and meths though probably not wire wool.0

Likely to find them in pound shops as well.0

Pretty sure I've seen all these things in B&Q0

Wilkinson's should sell all these things. (Ours does) Boots do meths. If your restoration project includes french polishing, you can make your own shellac by melting broken 78 records in boiling water. (Not vinyls). To buy or not to buy, need not be in question
