Hello!
My dear other half has recieved a demand for repayment of £3500 ish from credit solutions ltd regarding a student loans company ltd loan.
It is dated 3/2 giving 72 hours to pay all outstanding arrears in full or make satisfactory proposals before legal procedings may comence.
At some point in the distant past he forgot to defer the loan, moved house and tried to hide it in the back of his mind, not a good idea as we all know.
The year before last i sent a letter offering repayments which was accepted and a direct debit was set up, at some point the company stopped taking the payments, OH says he didn't notice (he really doesn't read his bank statements) so we don't know when this happened.
Trying to get back on track now as i have heard Credit solutions are not the best company to deal with, and before anyone says it, yes i know my OH is in the wrong but he is terrified debt collectors will turn up now when i am at home with our baby.
Do i still have time to send another offer of payments, or should we just wait for it to go to court and let them enforce payment?
