Previous occupant was v skanky!!!!
Can't get mould off the rubbery seal - have scrubbed & soaked with bleach.
Alos, paint all over frames which also won't come off - think it's cause it had been there for years - and is red and orange and blue!!!!!
Any suggestions?
BTW flying ants have arrived........ yuk!!!!!

If you've used bleach on the rubber seal then you probably have got rid of the mould but the rubber is stained. You could use some antifungal spray on it to make sure though. If you can't get rid of the stain and you can't live with it I would suggest you just paint over it.
As far as not being able to get the paint off, it doesn't matter how long it's been there it won't come off if you're not using the right type of solvent. Paint stripper will remove it.0 -
Thanks kitti, was afraid to try paint stripper in case it reacts with pvc, do you think it would be ok?
Guess the mould has stained - whole house was minging, at least now I'm just worried about tiny bits of mould!!!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
