Can't afford maternity wear!

I was in town yesterday and had a bit of a browse round Primark, I'm not pregnant but some of the tops I tried on made me look it...
Because of all the leggings/jeggings/treggings that are in fashion at the mo are a lot of long tops/short dresses and 'baggy' tops that are designed to be reigned in with a waist belt. A girl is pregnant at work at the mo and she's been wearing all those sorts of things, just ordinary clothes and leggings and things underneath.Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...

have you thought about a bump band? it goes over your troos and covers up the gap between them and your tops so you can carry on wearing your pre pregnancy top clothes. You can get them for around a fiver on line. Also you can get these little widgets that fix onto your trousers so that you can carry on wearing them too. sort of elastic and a bit to cover up the gap. If you've a bump band too, no one will notice! Total cost around 10pounds i would think for the two items and that should see you right until the last month or so. Keep your eye out in NCT sales and also on ebay. Look for sales finishing in the next 5 minutes on maternity clothes and you could find yourself the owner of some clothes for 99p!0

Our local debenhams had red herring maternity wear at 70% off plus buy one get one free the other day. I'm not pregnant but I thought the maternity clothes in the sale section were actually nicer than the non maternity clothes!0
