Processing time Barclaycard
Hi,
I applied for a Barclaycard loan (£1200) last Thursday online and was told it would take 5 days to process and if they needed any further information they would contact me within 3 days.
Does it normally take so long to process?.....I am pressuming this is prior to the time taken to post the loan agreement to me and return etc. I had expected a more speedy decision which is what I have experienced when applying online for credit cards.
Is the weekend included within the 5 day period or is just 5 working days?
I have checked my Experian credit report but as yet they have not run a credit check, which surprises me..........
I have a Barclaycard which when interest was charged this month has caused it to go over the limit thus incurring an overlimit fee..........do you think this will affect their decision?........I know it was my own fault I just went over by a couple of pounds.
Thanks in advance.
