                    What to do next?
OK, I’ll try to keep this very complicated situation simple. So here goes. I worked for 3 years for a company (Company A) started by Mr A. I Left that company to start my own with some experienced colleagues (Company .
.
Subsequently upon Company A finding out about us. Company A/Mr A, went to the police with some rubbish fraud allegations, and theft allegations, police have now discharged me and my colleagues from their enquires.
Subsequently I am now in a position to take legal action, however. Do I sue Company A or Mr A or company C ? ….. read on
The result of the allegations resulted in a police raid in which IT equipment has been rendered unusable and cost thousands to put right. Clearly I would like to recoup these losses but would I have a case with defamation as he clearly made a false statement to the police. Obviously these were just “delay tactics” to try and eliminate Company B.
Now here is the crunch Mr A has been transferring his assets, remortgaging his house to play the "You can't take something from nothing routine" likewise Company A is now listed as dormant and all assets have been transferred to a new company Company C.
What would you do? Or is there a slim chance of getting anything, any advice appreciated.

its to complicated to expect answers from a forum, if you have lost thousends then maybe a couple hundred quid on a solicitor to see if you have a case is worth the risk?Always ask ACAS0

You really need professional legal advice, but from the sounds of it it looks like the police had sufficient grounds/evidence to gain a warrant and stage the raid, which I doubt they would have done just on the say so of another company. So unless 'Company/Mr A' falsified evidence or maliciously made false statements to the police (in which case he could be looking at criminal charges for perverting the course of justice) then I'm not sure where you sit with pursuing a claim against either company.
If you're unhappy with the way the police acted, then you should make a complaint to the IPCC.0
