No need for a rethink, just Google, cut n paste and hey presto! You sound like a wealthy man, full of fantastic schemes that almost add up. Only downside is that people might wonder why you are logged in on an internet forum 24/7. Tired of spending money maybe - lol.that's where you went wrong then.
i'd re-think your life if i was you - it doesn't sound like it's going very well.0 -
you're right - i'll be off in a minute don't worryNo need for a rethink, just Google, cut n paste and hey presto! You sound like a wealthy man, full of fantastic schemes that almost add up. don't forget to log on here again at 5am with one of your other user names like you usually do..
now that's really, really sad having 4 or 5 user names to try and make you're point...0 -
I get up early! Is it a crime? Got to keep those wheels of commerce rolling somehow. Then home to Google stuff that I don't really understand in order to show off to people I don't know. Of course, I am fabulously successful and rich really, just choose to spend my time on here. So much better than having a life don't you think?you're right - i'll be off in a minute don't worry

Just 118,000 homes were built last year, the lowest total since 1946
As Housing Minister Caroline Flint laughably told the Labour Conference in September 2008:
"Sceptics asked me to scrap our target of 240,000 new homes a year
They want us to admit defeat.
We won't give up that easily.
Labour will build the homes Britain needs.
This Government has the right people;
Taking the right decisions
At the right time."
:rotfl:
The usual tactic for a government which can't answer its critics in a particular area is to make sure that the minister responsible is changed with ever increasing frequency so that no-one can be held accountable by the press for failure.
Which is exactly what happened to Caroline Flint.0 -
I'm sure that if there is a market for building 250K houses this year they will be built. The fact that only 118K houses were built last year shows the state of the market.0

Not surprised. There is no demand for them, well there is, they are just too expensive and the money is not flowing from the banks like it used to.
TBH, I am amazed even that many were built. The site I work on has been 95% HA for the past 2 years. Only a handful of private builds and they are built to order so to speak.0 -
Not good news

Just 118,000 homes were built last year, the lowest total since 1946, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and 17 percent lower than in 2008.

Well all those unemployed builders won't add to demand for houses.0 -

finance is not easy for building
most banks (barclays etc) are still out of the market0
