My daughter bought this cake for her wedding
http://www.waterfieldscakes.co.uk/catalogue.php?cid=1&pid=94
It looked lovely on display, i've taken the bride, groom, taxi and flowers off for keepsake,
she had a mixture of sponge and fruit cake
the bottom 2 layers were fruit and the top 2 sponge
And i have to say it was lovely, the sponge was like a maderia and i still have a bit of it left, for the bride and groom, when they come back from mexico, i've just had a piece and it is over 2 weeks old and it is still lovely and moist.
The fruit cake was nice as well, when i 1st cut the cake in half the fruit cake piece was a bit crumbly, so i wrapped it in greasproof and put it in tin foil, left it for 24 hours and then cut it, and it was fine.
I wouldn't hesistate to recommend these cakes, waterfields were very acceptable and whatever colour hair the bride and groom are they will change it to suit you.
