Wedding cakes from waterfields for shellsuit

My daughter bought this cake for her wedding

http://www.waterfieldscakes.co.uk/catalogue.php?cid=1&pid=94

It looked lovely on display, i've taken the bride, groom, taxi and flowers off for keepsake,

she had a mixture of sponge and fruit cake

the bottom 2 layers were fruit and the top 2 sponge

And i have to say it was lovely, the sponge was like a maderia and i still have a bit of it left, for the bride and groom, when they come back from mexico, i've just had a piece and it is over 2 weeks old and it is still lovely and moist.

The fruit cake was nice as well, when i 1st cut the cake in half the fruit cake piece was a bit crumbly, so i wrapped it in greasproof and put it in tin foil, left it for 24 hours and then cut it, and it was fine.

I wouldn't hesistate to recommend these cakes, waterfields were very acceptable and whatever colour hair the bride and groom are they will change it to suit you.

Thanks Chris, OH has his eye on one from there already!

Did it come as it is in the pic, or did you have to 'build' it?

Oh that's good isn't it! So it was all boxed and you just picked it up and then took it to the venue?
