I am very new to this MS stuff so please be gentle with me :)

I have registered with RE (amongst others) and today have checked the opportunties and there are about 8 within a 10 mile radius of me. They are for the same chain of shop but obviously in different locations. The shop (well a Pharamcy) is a great start for me as I work in healthcare but I wondered if it was OK to apply to do visits at more than one pharmacy. I thought I could maybe do one in my town and then one in the neighbouring towns but didn't know if this would be frowned upon by RE.

Any help would be gratefully received. :)

I think if you've only just registered with RE you will still be 'probationary' and that means you can only accept one job until the first one has been marked. After that, your status changes to 'active' and you can accept more than one assignment - but even then it's often only one of a particular client.

    Thanks everyone

I have just applied for one for now but the rest are still showing as available.

Do many people take little ones along when MS? Not sure whether to take him or not

Unless it is specified in the briefing notes that you can't take anyone with you, I usually shop with my little one. This is only for easy visits where she's not going to be a distraction. I wouldn't take her anywhere I have to get into a discussion with a staff member but just to purchase something is normally ok.
I can usually strap her in the shopping trolley.

You have really read the briefing notes with a fine tooth comb because some companies strictly specify not to take children with you and if they catch you on CCTV with your little one, your assignment will become invalid and you wont get paid. You could also get sacked.
I do the "no children" assignments when my little one is at nursery.

Welcome - I've not been on these threads very long and find people to be very helpful

GfK set a limit for the number of shops for a particular client and you will find it on the coversheet - this limit varies from client to client and scenario to scenario

Yes. Reimb is usually within a day or two of them receiving the item and cliam. Fee will be in their pay run (see front page of this thread for dates).

    HI Everyone,
    Glorious weather today!

Just wanted to ask. Does anyone know why Gyp calls and offers you jobs by telephone from the same client that you could get online?
When I questioned them, they just told me that several jobs need to be allocated manually!!?? Hmmmmmmmmm.......
  • I've come to the conclusion that waiting for ESA to allocate jobs is like waiting for my lottery numbers to come up. Hmm.........

I've just been allocated 4 of the 5 I was waiting for.
