Debt Collectors chasing for old debt

I have been contacted by a debt collection agency. They claim that I owed £15 from a mobile phone contract in November 2004.
I have little memory of this, but I don't allow debts to acrue, so I highly doubt it.
They are now asking for £200.
I have asked for documentation regarding the debt, but they say they don't have any, they have bought the debt from the mobile phone company.
What can I do? I have received a few letters now, and had a couple of unhelpful phone calls with them.
