debt arrangement scheme

does anyone know whether you can do a composition offer in a debt arrangement scheme . this is ultimately similar to a full and final. from what ive read online in a debt arrangement scheme guide for money advisors this does seem an option. iknow a few of the debts i have dont have valid ccas. i just dont have the money for a full and final offer right now. any1 done or even heard of this.

    Are you talking about the Debt Arrangement Scheme (DAS) which is like a slightly more formal debt payment plan (originally targetted at home owners with considerable debts), available only in Scotland ?
    Pop along to, or phone your local CAB, or the national debtline (phone)- they will be able to talk you through how DAS works, the implications for you and wether it is the most suitable option.

    yea thats exactly what i was talking about mate.

    was quite intersted to hear if anyone on here had gone into a DAS where some debt was written off...or did they pay the whole lot back.

    got a meeting booked but its a few weeks down the line... :(
