Does anyone know of a scam run by an organisation called 'The Village'. My husband had a call on his mobile phone from a man who knew an awful lot about our circumstances but he wanted to know more, especially about our mortgage. Obviously, my husband told him nothing and kept asking him what 'The Village' was. The man eventually hung up. We contacted our bank and there hasn't been any unusual activity on our mortgage account but it is quite worrying. Any info would be gratefully received.
