Thanks for the advice, he knows about it, but doesnt know how serious it is. Im just trying to get as much info as possible before i make any decisions. Guess a mortgage with me on it is out of the question.
Im in such a mess and i dont know what to do, Im 30 now and been seeing this guy for nearly a year and he wants us to move intogether. think i need to tell him everything and see what he says.0 -
Oh dear, he may run a mile when he finds out, i certainly would!
You can not take these debts out and just not think you can pay them. i dont know your circumstances for why you havent paid these companies back, but ignoring they exist is a very bad thing to do. You took the money and spent it, you should pay it back.
I dont think you will be able to get a mortgage in this climate, with a credit fie like that no one will give you anything anymore.
Would he be able to get a mortgage on his own? I take it you have no deposit saved for the move as you are in debt to your exisiting mortgage company?
You will have sale fees on your place, repayment of arrears, mortgage exit fees, fees for solicitors, and all the fees on your new place. Has he got a good paid job?
Oh and i see you are shared ownership, normally you have to achieve a certain price to be able to sell and i was reading another post on here where theres had been on the market over a year as its priced too high. You need to speak to the other owner about it.
Good luck, i think your going to need it.0 -
So you have being seeing this guy for a year and he doesn't know.
At least you have your relationship which is built on trust to fall back on!!! I suggest you have that open conversation NOW.
If you can get through this and he is still there then it's very credible.0
