Wrong address but has RM tracking

I've ordered something off ebay and the seller has provided me with a tracking number that says it's been delivered to some town 90 miles away. It may well be he's given me the wrong number (still awaiting reply) but does PayPal automatically favour the seller if a valid tracking number is provided or do they actually investigate to see if it's been delivered to the correct area first?

As long as you are pro active with paypal they will ask the seller for the receipt he has to show the address to which he sent the item. They won't bother though unless you nag them, you can start by pointing out that the delivery office is a ridiculous distance from you so is obviously wrong.
