Help! Pasta with Kenwood pasta attachment

I followed the recipe suggested in the manual but the pasta stuck together like crazy before I could even get it off the machine.
Is this inevitable?
If so, it's impossible to make pasta!

I'm thinking of having a go today - if I do I'll let you know how I got on!! I can't believe I've had the pasta attachment for yonks and still haven't used it. Very un-OS!!!
