Comments

  • Devonport House in Greenwich London is available on 28th March (Sunday) for £22... They usually never have the London one at the offer prices..
  • Cheap rooms, very OK. BUT please be aware that the rest of the package is there to get as much out of you as possible! We went away on the last deal for my birthday in January and were appalled.
The only dinner on offer was a buffet, limited to fish & chicken, soup to start and chocolate brownie for dessert. The price for this three-course delight? £25 per head!!

The hotel itself was lovely, but was geared up for the groups in there from the week, not the other guests. They even had a bar tarriff that we weren't allowed to order from!

Needless to say, I have complained, they have refunded and we have a free night to come, but please just bear in mind that it won't necessarily be a cheap night away!!

Hope that helps some of you!

Finally getting the chance to sort out the house
  • unlike elizamac, i have stayed on these offers at 4 different hotels and never had any problems.
although we do not eat in there restaurants, we normal just use the facilities and bar and rooms. i would defo reccomend for a cheap night away
  • I'm not saying it's not a cheap night away, just be mindful and have other plans to eat! Probaby didn't help we were miles from anywhere so were a bit stuck on the evening we arrived! The second night, we went out for a meal and got much better value!

We stayed at Devonport house in London for the pricely sum of £10 a room and it was great. Hotel nothing really special but close enough to London to make the most of. I might see about going again actually :) We have Merlin passes and it would be a good opportunity to make the most of the London offers with it.

  • We have stayed at Staverton Park , Cheadle House , Whites (bolton) and Barony Castle and never had a problem.
It never fails to surprise me what people want for £22, my god thats £3 more than Travelodge and the time you help yourself to free tea, coffee , hot chocolate, biscuits and apples it works out a great deal.
The bar prices are reasonable to us as we live in the very centre of london, but if you google before you go , you can find plenty of places to eat nearby.

We've stayed in a few of these Devere hotels and found them to be great. Normally you can either eat in the restaurant which have a set menu or there is a snack menu in the bar. The breakfasts are normally good value for £7.50 per adult and kids eat free (they did last year anyway) and there are free tea & coffee points in the foyers.

I think it's a great deal considering the regular minimum rate for the room is at least £59 or more.
  • Oh well, I'll stand corrected then.
