Credit report - can you help me

Hi

I want to apply to the credit referencing agencies to receive my statutory credit report. I believe the address they have for me is probably incorrect. When I ask for my statutory report my understanding is that my request cannot be seen by my creditors. My question, though, is will the credit reference agencies update my details with my new address for all my creditors to see?

I realise my creditors will have to know my new address soon enough. I just want to brace myself for the harrassment when they do, that's why I'm asking.

Yes, soon as you use your new address it'll be linked and available for creditors to see when they do a credit check...

Thanks for the reply. Do you know is there any way I can find out what address the credit reference agencies hold on me without applying for a statutory report and having to provide my new address details?

I dont think you will be able to get it without confirming your current address and who you are...

Exactly, they'd need to do an identity check which would include checking the electoral rolls etc and other details that would come up on the report. They ask for all addresses you've lived at for the past 6 years.
