in Debt-free wannabe
Hi, after being told i look like a certain person or people - i have plucked up the courage to just mail a couple of look alike agencies to test the water if you like!

I have been asked to send pictures (which i knew they would) but what if they laugh at me - because i cant see me being anythin like these people but lots of people have commented - i dont want to be laughed at!!!
but i need more money.

    Why not put a pic up here and we can say whether we think your friends are right? Considering we'd be giving the opinion of Joe Public I can't see the harm?
    Failing that, what have you got to lose? They won't laugh at you, they'll either decide if you resemble the person enough to be on their books or not.

    If they laugh they laugh!! More then likely they have seen real bad lookalikes and tbh most they use are bad! lol!

    supposedly anne hathaway (bride wars) i really cant see it myself. i have seen some bad lookalikes!! i spent ages trying to figure out who someone was supposed to be!!!

    I think the agencies tend to prefer lookalikes who can also do a good impersonation of the person also.

    Are you able to do that? Copy her mannerisms, speak how she does etc?

    PS: What a compliment to be told you look like Anne Hathaway! I'd be dead chuffed! :)

    Just had to google her as i have never heard of her - she is beautiful!!
    VERY jealous.

    Most of these agencies can also use makeup to make adjustments ie, nose shape etc or to define certain features!

    Go for it Beauty! You have nothing to lose. Even if they laugh you won't know about it if you send pics. Have you got a pic where you look particularly like her? Or get one taken where your hair is styled like hers.

    I bet you have no idea just how beautiful you are. Naturally beautiful
    people dont. If you are just half as beautiful as Anne Hathaway you are truly blessed.
