Bristol charity shops with parking nearby?
Does anyone know of any charity shops in the Bristol area with parking close by?
I'm decluttering like mad in preparation for moving so have lots of bric a brac/toys to 'lose'! The charity banks round here only seem to accept clothing and bedding, and they've stopped delivering charity collection bags.
I'll have my 2 year old with me, so I can't walk too far with him and my stuff!

St Peter's Hospice always used to collect.
Assuming you can hold onto it for a while.
Centrally, the Salvation Army shop on the corner of Ashley Road and Stokes Croft has limited parking bays in Ashley Road, outside rush hours, but they can be tricky to find and get into.
There's one in Stoke Lane, BS9, where you can usually find a spot - opposite the Coop. And another on North View, BS9, and several along Henleaze Road.
And there are several in Shirehampton with parking very close.
However, if you live over the other side of Bristol, I'm quite certain other people will know of closer ones - do you want to give us a clue?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Thank you - I live in North Bristol (Warmley area), but I can get just about anywhere with the car...it's just getting from the car to the shop that's a problem!0

There's a St Peters Hospice at the top of Whiteladies road, and all though there isn't a lot of parking there i very often see people tucked in to the end of the bus stop that's right outside its door whilst dropping things off quickly...0

Oxfam on Cotham Hill (just off Whiteladies Road, near Sainsburys) has quite a bit of parking on the surrounding streets.0

As some1 said earlier St Peters Hospice will collect - I had same prob as you and I went on there website and arranged a collection - Lovely gentleman called me and collected within the week.
Also St Peters Hospice Gilda Parade Whitchurch BS14 also has some parking spaces right outside shop. HTH0 -
Not a charity shop, but have you thought of freegle / freecycle? You'd get someone to pick the stuff up from you, and you'd get to actually meet the people who will be benefitting from the stuff.0
