Purchase price £50000, looking for a 75% interest only loan.

Should I be looking at a tracker, fixed or variable?

Thanks.

the title means nothing...not such as thing as best......depends on circumstances..ltv....etc....this is known as being a lazy landlord....if the property is worth investing in surely it's worth a bit more than posting..."What is the best current Buy To Let Mortgage on offer."
  • Thanks for the reply, but I don't appreciate the 'lazy landlord' comment.

    I have amended my post.

    Thanks

  • Some lenders have a minimum house price of £60K.

I like the look of Principality's deals. Their arrangement fee is £999 for a fixed rate or is based on a %age (2.5% or 3.5%) for a tracker. This compares favourably with Natwest's flat fee of £1,999.

  • Thanks GG..that's the one that jumped out at me.

  • is this for your own home or a buy to let, are you a first time buyer? Alliance and leic min loan is £25k
re fixed or tracker, tracker always offered as cheaper but can go up
people who like to budget choose fixed
those that dont mind taking the chance interest rates wont move up for a while are opting for trackers
