Aww, poor you
Don't be sorry for the rant, that's what your diary is for. I sympathise re: the worms.
My youngest had them twice and I was mortified. I read up about them on the internet and was really meticulous in hoovering the mattresses, washing the towels and bedding every day, keeping nails short etc etc.
You are doing well and keeping tabs on your spending is the first and most important step.
Keep going, because things WILL get better
Thanks Macgirl,
This is the 2nd time he has had them but DS1 and DS3 have never had them. I think its the middle child syndrome ..... he is always in trouble:)

Hi again!
My middle DS is the naughty one too! He has the power to drive me to distraction - he is of course also engaging and funny and all other those things that get you past the sheer annoyingness....
Sorry you're having a bad week but hang in there. It will take a good few months to get used to living on less....if you can possibly stop using your CCs at some point (appreciate they are fillling in the gaps for you at the mo) that was what made the biggest difference for me, as the balance stops going up (obviously) and what you pay off starts to bring the totals down which is encouraging. But you might have to just tread water for a bit, but then a breaktrough will come along....
Personally have come in within my own persoanl budget this month but we have had an horrendously expensive month en famile and used school fees money to fill in our gaps....we have that put aside elsewhere too, so not a disaster as a one off, but with a family stuff just HAPPENS.....
So it's not just you.....

Hi,
One of the * many * things that is getting me down at the moment is my looming tax bill at the end of July. I need to find ways of earning and extra :eek: £4000:eek::eek: in that time. I think lots of O/T called for .
Anyone else got any money making ideas ???

I am self employed but not very good for saving for the taxman:o

Okay, I have a plan..
I have worked out that I have to work 45 hrs per week to earn enough to save for the tax man. This does not sound a lot ( i often work much more than this) but I rarely get to work before 10.30am as I first have to do the school run, walk the dog and drive 30 mins to work . This means if I work 9 hrs per day I won't get home until 8pm. Not good for family life. I think working 8.5 hrs per day is more doable and I can do the extra couple of hours at the weekend.
I also aim to have 4NSD during the week . This means I need to be organised so need to make sandwiches at least 4 out of 5 days.
I will log my hours on here every day so that I can monitor how I am doing . It may also spur me on to do the extra hour when I am flagging at 6.30 pm:(.
I may need you guys to check that I am still at work form time to time;)
Thanks for reading

Yes I like the sound of that but what happens if your DS1 is off school?
, I agree with nsds I try and do that myself have had 3 this week so I'm please with that,
sandwhiches yes good idea, how about if you made a complete batch and froze them that way if your too tired at night you wont need to worry about them or may your OH could do thm for you?
you also need to be able to make time for yourself as you will not be able to cope.
would your boss be able to allow you to do some work at home so you don't loose any money?
sorry It sounded like me putting the spanner in the works but I was hoping I few lbms would be of help.

Hi Ruby,
Freezing the sandwiches would be a good idea as I am often too tired when I get in to make them and usually when I do I forget to take them with me !!:o
My boss is very understanding and yes I often work from home especially during school holidays although it can be difficult with 3 little boys and a dog running riot.:)
You are absolutely right in that I need to include some "me" time....if I can remember what that is.
Just been over to your diary .... you are very resourceful :T:T . Do you fancy popping down the road to sort my house out :rotfl::rotfl:
Love
