81 days to my holiday. Need to get my fat arris reduced a bit. OH started his 'you're going to lose weight before we go on holiday' routine this morning.

Evening all.
I rang a mortgage broker and spoke to her about remortgaging as our fixed rate is coming to an end. I would never have done that, ever, before. I even told her we are thinking about making overpayments (only teeny tiny and potential ones) so I needed her to ensure that was possible!!!!
I could not be more proud of myself, or more grateful to Martin and everyone here for changing me. I know the DFW slogan is "proud to be dealing with my debts". Mine is "I'm proud to be able to deal with my money - not run away from it as money = too scarey!".
Just needed to get that said.
Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
