I heard an amusing news story on the radio last night. A member of the public in Somerset called the police to say that their car had been stolen from a car park, however they had to call back 4 days later to say that they'd found it. They were looking for htier car in the wrong place! D'OH!
Cx
A woman that I used to work with did something similar.
She's incredibly highly strung as it is and decided to go early one day.
We all said bye (open plan office) and she left, only to return looking extremely flustered 5 mins later, she said her key wouldn't work in any of her car locks, she then called AA (not a member so a £90 call out fee), when the chap finally arrived she went back down to the car park then came flying back up, her face was beetroot, "My car's been stolen, it's gone!" she was totally panicking, phoned the police and ran back downstairs.
At this point I recalled returning from a dental practice earlier in the day and passed her soft topped turquoise Mazda at the back of the building so I went running after her to check she'd got the right car.
She'd been trying to open an identical car in the carpark so obviously her keys wouldn't work in the locks, then while waiting for the AA man the driver of said car must have gone home.
So.... one embarassing call back to the police and a £90 AA call out fee later she limped off home in her car. :rotfl:
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.

Prices in London are nuts aren't they! I pay that per MONTH for my cute little 3 bed house with garden on 3 sides and a driveway for 3 cars, and I will own it outright by the time I'm 50.
Flat is lovely though - wish my bathroom looked so shiny and stylish. And not having to pay for major repairs must be nice!
Have your flatmates decided what they are doing yet Becky? Wont you miss the gorgeous garden you have?
Edit - Hahaha, how northern do I sound, moaning about prices in 'that fancy London'. :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
that flat cost per week what mine does per month...Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!
