    Caerphilly castle is gorgeous!
I was just up the road from there last year when I drove down because I was asked to speak at an infection prevention conference, I know a lovely little B&B!

I love the leaning tower of Caerphilly castle!

Feeling a little better today, absolutely drained of energy but hey, I've lost 2lbs despite a bit of a choc-fest, so every cloud and all that... :rotfl:

Bloody phone is broken, it has a 'known fault' which Nokia are currently working on a fix for but haven't found one yet <rolls eyes> so I was told I had to take in to a shop in the centre of Leeds, which either meant train fares or parking, and a load of hassle dragging two reluctant kids with me, so I persuaded them to collect it from me and take it away for the software to be reinstalled, which is a 'temporary fix but not a real solution' apparently. Pretty good service from them for once though.

Shall I try to run tonight despite feeling wiped out? Don't really enjoy walking alone, particularly in the dark so don't fancy doing that. Could go to the gym I guess, but not really feeling up to that either. Wondering if I force myself to go, my energy will come back.

Must be getting slowly back on track though, I've just caught up on 2 days worth of washing up!  :o

Go for it Snags, you don't have to go far, just get some fresh air and a bit of a stretch.

Claire - Mum says not to use handknit wool as the twist is too tight and you'll end up with really stiff work. The machine wool at £5 is actually good as you'll get more on it and for practising you can just undo what you've done without worrying you've had to join stuff. Charity shops can be a good source of MK yarns. Online is also a good source at good prices (Bramwell and BSK are good brands)

A top tip is not to decrease on the first/last stitches then it is easier to join work.

Do you have the lace carriage too?

Hello - we got back last night and I am feeling rather shell shocked after a very emotional few days. It was horrible having to leave my brother-in-law yesterday but we hope to see him again in a couple of weeks. Good to read that a good time was had by all Bunny's party-goers. Having comp problems - MSE seems to be the only site I can access properly -not sure what's up.
