Glad to see there are still folk coming on and having a natter.

Had a day not working, with lots planned, but not managed much unfortunately. All day been getting sharp pain around the scar where I got my gall-bladder out last year (pancreatitis). I get this once in a while, and I just have to lie down for a while to wait for it to subside. I am already on 8 paracetamol-a-day for my back pain, so can't take any more painkillers....so just have to rest and do nothing. (Can't take ibuprofen-like stuff as they gave me ulcers last year - not a good year 2009!!:().

Tried booking a couple of night's B&B in Orkney for next month...no joy so far...and it looks like we will have to pay £200 or more for three of us for 2 nights...aaargh.:eek: That's on top of the ferry costs of £138 return...quite a lot for a couple of days to see family. I can see us camping at this rate!!

Sorry for the rant...feeling a bit low today....wish the pain would just go away.

Expect Mike is getting a good few butterflies in his tummy now...he must be so excited...and a bit scared too...hope he loves what DIY SOS does for him! Couldn't be any worse than he had before after all!! If he really doesn't like the colours...at least it will only take a coat or two of paint to change it.

DH has taken DS2 off to his first evening towards getting his Level 1 Rugby Coaching Certificate. So I am on my own until 10 or so..don't feel like doing much though....b****r!!!

re Starbucks...don't like hot drinks (unless I am VERY cold!), but love the iced mocha-coffee, drunk with a straw...yum!! Thanks Happy!!

Well done girls just nothing talk will keep them at bay. Have sent you in an email Keiss. How strange I had my gall bladder out in 2007 - used to get a very strange pain which made me have to lie down because I used to feel like a limp lettuce leaf. But since it has gone I feel great, but every now and then I get a ache around the top scar just under my breast bone. What we having for tea then Happy? Are you joining us Keiss? I suggest smoked salmon, brown bread and butter followed by strawberries and cream and shall we open a bottle of bubbly or shall we keep that for Friday night.

Will send OH off to the farm shop - nothing like freshly dug Kentish new potatoes, with butter and mint!! with Salmon and a freshly tossed salad. Bubbly in fridge and yep am with you there lets join in the fun but pushing the boat out every night!! Bet they are altogether now getting to know one another. But no we mustn't be sad we have a job to do, off on patrol for a while.............. xx
