Ccj and jobs

Hypothetical!

If you were a Teacher/Doctor/Lawyer and you recvd a CCJ for debts would be able to continue Teaching/Practising??

  • Yes but certain careers strictly prohibit it, such as a lawyer cannot be in debt nor can an accountant!

    Not sure why a CCJ would affect a doctor or a teacher, maybe a lawyer though.

    Might affect jobs in the financial sector, especially if there was any conflict of interest.

    Exactly, I mean lets all go get financial advice from someone with 6 CCJ's, ex bankrupt etc etc - lol, reminds me of Arfur Daley opening an IFA! :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Thanks i understand about the financial sector - it makes sense i just wondered when i signed up for a tuition agency - have i got any CCJ's and if i do incur any to let the agency know. I just wondered if i ever (god help me i dont) get toa CCJ stage would i still keep my career? Thanks xxx

    CCJ's can be read by anyone - simply visit registry trust for details! Therefore a CCJ would have no bearing on any tuition jobs you went for, unless maybe they wanted to credit score you first in which case you'd know cos it'd say on the application that they do it.... :D
