In the last 12 months I have taken controlling interest in a limited company. Although I take a salary ( no dividends etc) and my employment status has not changed, if I even mention 'managing director' they class me as self employed and will not deal with me until I have been at the helm for more than two years.
I have approached my existing borrower and the only questions they have asked so far are am I employed or self employed and what my title is. Can I list myself as any job title (i.e. sales manager) and not be fibbing.
Any advice would be much appreciated how I should proceed.
