I'm SOOOOOO tempted with the VIP tickets at £30 but can't decide if it would be £60 well spent or not (VIP = £30 each and general admission = £14 on Friday and £16 Sat/Sun (£2 off general admission tickets if booked online before Thursday 18/2)

I know it's not very MSE but I would be tempted to... I'd forgotten about this, would love to go!!0
-
However, as i'm getting married in Northern Ireland i'm not sure how much use it'd be to me...0

Sounds like you're advertising it, not just thinking of upgrading your ticket. Although I hadn't realised it was on this weekend, so you might have sold one extra ticket, darn you.MFW #66 - £4800 target0

The National Wedding Show is on at the NEC on 6/7 March too.
£30 is a bit OTT for a glass of champers, a goody bag and a place to flop out.
If you have your ticket sent beforehand you can just go straight on in without having to queue (this is the same for the ordinary ticket), I have never yet seen reserved seating at any catwalk show at the National Wedding Show. There are exclusive show offers anyway regardless of entrance ticket price.
Remember at the show you get laden down with bags and can collect all sorts of goodies.
Not wanting to put you off the VIP ticket but think that the money may well be needed to buy something to eat (food in these places is never cheap).0 -
Just clicked through to buy tickets and you can get a free goody bag with a normal ticket if you 'answer some questions' beforehand so maybe not worth £30 just for a glass of champs then...? Does anyone know if this wud only be of use to people getting married in the local area? I really want to go now!0

I did think when I read it back that it looked like an advert lol. Sorry, I just copied and pasted!
If you can get the goody bag without upgrading, then I think it would make more sense to pay the cheaper price then as the only difference really would be the free makeover which you could get at a beauty counter anyway
I haven't bought any tickets yet! Tomorrow is the last day for advance booking so I need to make my mind up! OH is happy to come with me, but I can't decide if it is worth the effort, or whether it would make more sense to go to a local show where it is free entry? I keep thinking that any supplier who can afford to exhibit at Olympia, won't be very MSE with their prices will they? GRRR! I wish I could make a decision lol0 -
I wanted to go...asked one of my bridesmaids to come with and she said no way its soooooo boring!! :O the other bridesmaid is busy so guess I wont be goingIts better to have loved and lost than not loved at all

I got VIP tickets for the one in Birmingham, which is at the beginning of March. on Monday but there weren't many left so if you are thinking about this I'd get in quick.. I am taking MIL2be as they live closer to Birmigham so we are going to visit for the weekend, and then we are scooting off the the show on Saturday morning

Does anyone know if the advance discount for the Birmingham show ends on 18th Feb?? I was planning to do a group booking this weekend and don't want to miss out by a couple of days :cool:0 -
It's only the London one which finishes selling advance tickets tomorrow, as the show opens Friday then you have to pay on the door
Shelx - why not just go on your own and treat yourself to a day out? I'm certain you won't be the only one
When I looked yesterday at tickets, availability for Fri and Sun was excellent, but Saturday was limited availability0
