Sorry to hear that you never got the job,but at least your application is on hold,and thats a thing.Yes its a good idea to ask them for some feedback. I went to a job interview yesterday and hopefully I will know the outcome tomorrow or friday. But if it is unsuccessful then I will keep on applying for jobs.
