:rotfl: This ball was started yesterday - and it was very funny!
This morning, I have had:
1 x Junk Traveller - to travel the world. I wish!
1 x Junk from the Book People
1 x Halifax - You are seriously.... blah blah
1 x Abbey - You are seriously ........ blah blah
But what is really funny....
OH has a letter from the courts. He has been awareded compensation! :T
Quick story - Last year, OH (in his bouncer job) saved a young damsel in distress whilst her then BF was smackng her with a baseball bat. As OH stepped in, the BF then went for Hubby. Hubby won. Anyway, it went to court, and the MOST the CPS could get him for was attacking OH - the girly dropped charges.
OH has been awarded £100 for (wait for it) BEING SWORN AT!!! :rotfl: The use of profantities!
Whats even better, is that the letter states that the defendant is not in a position to pay the compensation in one go! :rotfl: So we are looking at 0.50p to £1 a week for the next 2 years!!!!!!

I got my yearly Mortgage Balance Statment, a survey from MAMS and a letter from the Abbey telling me there was not enough money in my account blah, blah, blah!!

I still receive letters for the person who last lived here and walk them round to her house to give to her but there was one today for her husband who died over a year ago but I don't think it's morally right to pass it on to her?0 -

I got:
Free travel insurance for a year from Direct Line as I have just taken out house insurance with them. (yeah right, like i am going to be going anywhere this year!!!)
THREE Letters from Mercers - 1 stating that if I pay them £45 a month, they will reduce my interest to 1% for 6 months - what part of "I can only pay you £1 at present" do they not understand. 2 letters stating that they have been unable to contact me.......they are supposed to be calling here at my address today..........so I can call them on 0151 etc, and on this occasion, I can reverse the charges!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:
Now I finally know that apart from the fact that there wonderfully polite people can't read and have amnesia, we now know that they can't count either!
Oh yes......and my free Bounty Rolls token!!!
So....not very exciting....but could have been worse!!!!
