MBNA rejecting CCCS

Hi everyone!

Im on a DMP with CCCS. A number of creditors have rejected my offer (no suprise there) but one in particular, MBNA, keeps hassling me.

They keep sending emails (they stopped calling after i complained) with things like 'call us, we want to help', 'call us ,we need to know your circumstances so we can help...' blah blah blah.

Now, I know if i call them they are going to do the traditional 'pay us this much or the world will end' speech. Should i just ignore them and hope they accept my payment?

MBNA are nearly always a pain in the bum at the start of a DMP.

Just ignore them, and keep the contact/offer through CCCS.

Eventually the will either stop throwing their toys out of the pram and accept, or they will sell the debt on.

Creditors will kick up a fuss for a few months, CCCS should have said this was likely. You can only pay what you can afford, they may try for a CCJ but that will only make you pay what you can afford the same as a DMP. I would carry on with CCCS and see if things change.

Tell them this is all you can afford, confirmed by a well known debt charity CCCS, and that you are making these payments.
