Selling a domain name - does Capital Gains tax apply

in Cutting tax
Slightly hypothetical question: 5 years ago I registered a domain with a .co.uk. Since then a big US crowd has come along and expressed an interest in buying the domain name. I'm self-employed and write software but I've never sold a domain before - so it's not my regular line of work. Let's say I manage to sell the domain for £60k. Would this be classed as regular income for tax purposes or would I be able to put it down as Capital Gains, which attracts a lower rate of tax?
