Do the CSA take the NRP's other children into account

My ex has got his new girlfriend pregnant, he will no doubt want to use this to try cut his payments down further. Does his new baby effect what he pays for his two children with me?
thanks.
thanks.

yes it will - if he is on CSA2 and currently pays 20% for 2 children he will first get a reduction of 15% for the other child so instead of paying 20% of 100% of his net he will be paying 20% of 85% of his net
playing with rough figures this would mean if he currently pays £200 then this would become £170
this is assuming that you are receiving through the CSA0 -
thanks.

I've been reading on here that they take a money from the child tax credits of the NRP too, hes on a low income, his girlfriend earns a fair bit more than him, so Im not sure how much they'd actually get, but is it true that the CTC becomes a factor in the calculations?0

CSA should only take the new child into consideration if the baby actually lives with him.0

Child tax credits should be taken into consideration regardless of his girlfriend being the higher earner (unlike working tax credits) but the CSA probably won't automatically check for them - you'll have to hope your NRP is honest enough to declare them.0

Actually it's unfair on the Child with the NRP, as my case proved
they assessed me at £300 a month for my Daughter but then reduced this to £255 because my son lived with me.
So 1 child costs £255 a month to support the other £45 how unfair is that:beer: I've paid the CSA off and stopped them taking payments:beer:
I'm stillowed some arrears by my ex
I was a NRP, now I'm a PWC, partner of a PWC, and parent of a PWC ( and very confused at times )0 -
my ex would never be honest about what he earns lol, he disputed paying £11 a wk for his two kids with me, so much so hes now on bail conditions that he cant come near me....0

Does he live with his new GF?
In answer to your question the answer is yes, he can't use it as an excuse to pay less, you may well recieve less but he pays out more, and if he is not living with his GF then expect your receipts to drop by nearly 1/3.0 -

Nope, what if the new GF lodges a claim too?
the csa take more from the nrp and then the total sum is distributed , in the case above one mum will get 2/3 and the other 1/3 assuming no overnights.0
