First class post will arrive tomorrow, why is that too late?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I resigned in the past by email, i wrote a brief explanation on the mail and sent the resignation as an attachment, with a read receipt and also asked that he acknowledge receipt.0

Providing they respond it is not a problem.
Just using the "read receipt" function does not help very much as some people ignore them (even set their computer to ignore them without asking).
Might it be worth sending a special deliver letter? This is guaranteed for tomorrow and will give you proof of delivery.0 -
I would send him an e-mail with the letter attached explaining you are resigning with immediate effect but are happy to meet with him at a convenient time to discuss it further although ensure the notice is accepted with immediate effect.
Copy in HR if there is an HR function,.
If he doesnt respond then give him a call.0
