Yorkshire Water

I have just had a letter from Yorkshire Water saying they will not freeze my account and that I have to call them within 7 days to arrange payment.
Can I send them another letter with a Statement and my offer? Or will they just not have it?
Does anyone have any experience of this?
I also need them to remove my friends name from the bill as he has nothing to do with the bill, just me. I dont want him getting a CCJ too!
Thanks in Advance!

Tuesday 8am-6pm, most people are at work and not on the forums, you won't get an instant response. If you need advice ASAP, i advise you ring national debtline or local cab office.
Why is your friends name on the bill already, i don't think they let you change it until the account it ou of arrears otherwise you are transferring debt. Even if you can you will probably need your friend to talk to them.
Utility bills are priority debts, so need to be paid first, however water companies are usually more lax than most creditors, some even help you to go bankrupt if you cant afford it.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0
