TESCO RECYCLING - what is a year?

Hi

For the printer cartridge AND the Phone scheme, there is a limit of 30 and 5 items respectively, per year. Is this based on a tax year, a financial year or the year from when the items were received/clubcard points added.

Keen to find out, if you know I would appreciate it!

I have emailed them to check, but knowing tesco it will be 3 to 5 working days to get back to me. will post their answer on here.

mmm interesting point i often send in old phones i pick up along the way even one i found buried in the garden coverd in mud once and i got credited with the points but have never thought to keep track of how many!

I got a call and i she said its ok for me to start sending them in again! I think its been 10 months. Mind you I am ill at the moment and actually am not sure what she said!

So still need to confirm what a year is! CRIKEY

From the recycling factory today:

"the limit is 30 cartridges a year per household starting from 1st January to 31st December cartridges over this amount will go directly to the charity."

do you think these dates apply to the fones too ?

I think so - can't be sure but as it would be Tesco that decides i would be surprised if they applied it differently
