missing payslips

I have a mortgage going through at the mo, the lender wanted to see my last 3 months payslips. I get paid weekly but am missing 2 payslips. I asked at work if they could get something printed off, all they could do was to print off a summary sheet that had details of my last 3 months pay. Now the lenders are saying they wont accept this. I am waiting to hear if they will accept it with a written reference from my employer.
If they wont accept it even with a reference, and proof of income from my bank statements, what can i do? Has anyone been in this situation before? It seems riddiculous that they could refuse a mortgage because i have lost 2 payslips!! And my head is starting to get mashed up by it all! HELP!

I'm sure with all those means you should be ok. Can you not provide any earlier months wage slips?
When I provided all the wage slips necessary, my wage slips didn't say my employers company name, which was deemed not sufficient so I had to provide bank statements...shows how petty they can be lol
Make sure you provide proper bank statements, not photocopies or print offs from internet banking0 -
Many companies outsource the printing of their payslips which is probably why yours cant offer duplicates.
Why dont you speak to the lender and find out what alternative they will accept.:heartpuls baby no3 due 16th November :heartpulsTEAM YELLOWDFD 16/6/10"Shut your gob! Or I'll come round your houses and stamp on all your toys" The ONE, the ONLY, the LEGENDARY Gene Hunt :heart2:0 -
Yeah ive got my broker on the case, if they will accept a reference from my employer then i should be ok. Ive had this sorta thing going on for a month now, is it me or do the lenders wanna find someway of getting out of lending?0

If they wanted to 'get out of lending' they just wouldn't lend.:heartpuls baby no3 due 16th November :heartpulsTEAM YELLOWDFD 16/6/10"Shut your gob! Or I'll come round your houses and stamp on all your toys" The ONE, the ONLY, the LEGENDARY Gene Hunt :heart2:0 -
Rather than start a new thread, I thought I would ask in here!
I am going to be looking at getting a mortgage soon but am concerned that mortgage lenders will want copies of my bank statements. I agreed with HSBC a while ago to not receive paper statements anymore (seemed pointless to me as I check my account most days on the internet!).
I guess a mortgage provider will not accept print outs of my internet banking statements? Does anybody know if HSBC will issue me with a few months worth of statements if I ask?0 -

They will. They may charge a small admin fee but they can do this quite quickly if you ask. I think if I am not insane HSBC did mine for free but Natwest asked for £2 admin fee.0 -
After I have saved them a small fortune in printing and postage costs over the last year or so, they better not charge me.0

If the lenders really want verification, they should write to the company directly, as well as get a confirmation of income from HMRC. You have to authorise them to write to these organisations, of course, but that is hardly new. It's just a paper pushing exercise that makes you run around in circles. If they don't trust you, why should they trust a printout handed in by you? Who hasn't got a printer?0
