i have a couple of defaults on my credit file from a few years ago these are:
orange defaulted feb 2005 balance £57.00
capital one defaulted feb 2002 balance £612.00
both these were settled last year and ive just got a loan finally for £1000 just to build my credit rating up for 6 months to show i can make repayments on time now.
i earn £14,631 as a civil servant and o/h earns 13,500
whats the likelyhood of a mortgage and would a high street lender touch me (cant afford deposit so would have to be 100% and i know i'd have to pay higher intrest intially)
any help?

you will have no problems getting a mortgage and should be able to get a 95% one. you need advice as to which lenders to approach though as most high street lenders will not consider you.I am a Mortgage Adviser

As you are looking for 100% mortgage yor options are already limited - if you factor in the "bad" credit history they narrow down even more as 100% lending criteira tends to be very strict. You may still have some options open.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
