Hey Zarazara
A whole year is a bit much for me to bear
Have you seen this thread (I'm on this one thisyear) http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2158803 If I manage to keep within a £100 this year, then perhaps I'll try no clothes for a year!
Good luck, I'll be extremely impressed and awed by all who manage it - you have my utmost respect :TJan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Hiya, I did this last year, not buying any new fashion item, and I have to say, it got very easy after couple of months. You just don't see clothes as something you buy anymore!
As a treat, I used to put away some clothes (hide them) and then bring them out when I was getting bored of my wardrobe, a bit like having new clothes but without buying any.
You also get to learn which items you really do wear, and which are just hanging there to look pretty!
Hope your challenge goes well

I'm trying to see how long I can go without buying any new clothes. I started on 1st Jan and haven't caved in yet LOL. I've got a wardrobe full of clothes from size 10 to size 16 so I can't use the old 'nothing fits me' excuse either LOL. Good luck.Start Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230
