Anyone know the best place to write or ring Capital one

We are on a dmp and Cap 1 are the only ones still charging interest. Their interest is using up over half of our payment. I am going round in circles with letters and phone calls and the message doesn't seem to get to the right department as they have just sent the same letter to CCCS as they did a month ago although we have written and phoned to answer their query.
Does anyone know an address, person, phone number etc that will help me talk/write to the correct person instead of some idiot on the phone who just quotes from a printout.
Any help greatly appreciated

Hi elenor just found this address:

    Capital One Card Services
    P.O. Box 5283
    Nottingham
    NG2 9HD

for general enquirey on capital one accounts Telephone 08458 400 400

If you have a complaint please write to:
    Executive Office

good luck also remember to write down the name, date and time of the person you have spoken to and keep copies of all correspondence, you might also be able to write to the banking ombudsman and explain to them this often helps as these people do listen,

you might find it cheaper to use 'no to 0870', search for "capital one" and start using the 0800 numbers listed for them 0800 952 4966 might also be worth a shot.
  • Thanks for your replies. I may try writing to the complaints department as I assume they will actually haave to take some notice of my letter if I do this but am also concerned that they may just get bolshy and dig their heels in. As they don't have to freeze interest then I don't really have a 'complaint', it's more of a request
  • just ask them to look into it explaining what has happened, tell about DMP and also that other creditors have frozen interest, include who you have already spoken to, making a point that nobody is taking notice, also tell them that you will be seeking further advice. hope this helps
