See this is how it starts, freezer defrosted................and now washer and dryer pulled out and cleaned and all the carp underneath (how does that happen) cleaned, tiles scrubed, grout on floor tiles scrubbed (with a toothbrush) cupboards cleared out and cleaned - in other words - the utility room is sparkling!

LOL Lucielle it may be a tip again......but at least you now know its clean dirt as opposed to dirty dirt (iykwim)

You can now eat your dinner of the utility room floor..............if you so desire!!

    Rest of house = disaster!

i'm not just impressed i'm jealous, i always feel that this place will never be clean enough or tidy enough. But then i doubt that it ever will be. I'm also jealous that you have a utility room, i barely have a kitchen.

    WOW...when you clean you clean.
  • LT the utility room WAS our kitchen when we moved here................then we knocked a wall down and got ourselves a decent kitchen and a utility room..........it really is a godsend in that we can have washer, dryer and freezer inside.

LOL Taxi..........that I do what a pity I don't do it more often

Although I am noticing that with the ongoing decluttering, it is getting easier and easier to keep on top of it..............mind you I think I am about 60% decluttered and will hopefully get a bit more done over Christmas. Going to force DH to really empty computer room, our permanent disaster because all his play stuff is in there, plus boxes for pies, plus bit of computer crap............I could go on and on and on!

Having defrosted freezer, there is enough there to get us through to Christmas and then we have SIL and nephew coming for a few days so I will do a shop between Xmas and New Year when freezer is emptied and then it will be spuds and soup til January payday (a long long way away)
