    Pie Machine is sick so out to sprinkle some holy water on that later cuz I ain't got no money to fix it (said with American accent to impress my lovely new friends in Ebay world)
    Holy Water didn't work - engineer coming tomorrow, now saying rosary that it doesn't cost too much!

    Oh Reddie, you crack me up! :rotfl: How Irish is that! :rotfl: :rotfl: Now all you need to do is stick the Child of Prague on the back step to get rid of the bad weather for tomorrow (if it's not bad there, trust me, it's appaling here!), and you'll have fulfilled every stereotype there is. ;) (Or is that just my family? :o:D)

    Do share your most obscure item - I would love to know. I haven't been so lucky in that manner, I must be extremely obscure :rotfl::rotfl:

    Oh, things like old tax discs - nothing fancy, like classic cars, or personalised registration plates, just expired tax discs.....its amazing what people collect!! Also, things like a freeview box that doesn't work and a mobile phone that has been through the washing machine!

    Best thing was a musical instrument that was made from a kit by my dad. Not sure if it was unfinished, or just not looked after, but it was a bit of a wreck when I cleared out his house and found it in bits under his spare room bed.....I would have been happy to give it away but instead put it on ebay.......and got over £700 :D

  • I just sold my dd's smashed up nintendo ds lite. It was liturally in 2 pieces and I got £25 for it! Sadly dh then bid on something and spent it. I rue the day I disclosed mr paypal password!!:o

    Btw, the Child of Prague bit made me laugh. My nan had one and the head got broken off and for some reason they glued it back on back to front. I grew up thinking that the child of prague was a saint for having is face at the back of his head!:rotfl:
    Proud to be dealing with my debts,

    LMAO :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I have never had a Child of Prague at my house but my SIL did put one out the night before our wedding!

    (For the non Irish Catholics - the Child of Prague is the 'saint' who, if you pray very hard to, brings you good weather.)

    The pie machine needs a new compressor. We bought a new one a few weeks ago so the guy who sold us it gave us a new bigger one for no extra money - so fingers crossed x
