income support can never be claimed with savings over a certain amount0 -
If you've paid the correct National Insurance contributions for 2 years, you can qualify for 6 months "contributions-based JSA", irrrespective of your savings.
At the end of 6 months, you get switched to "income-based JSA" which will then hit the savings issue at £16k.Act in haste, repent at leisure.
