use a price check site like find-dvds to check prices on your finds

Official MoneySavingExpert.com insert:

It’s possible to grab uber-cheap DVDs from £3 from Tesco’s grocery delivery site. Offers vary by store, but bargains MoneySavers have spotted include Inglorious Basterds £3, Mama Mia £2 and Sex and the City £3.

Postage is from £3 depending on delivery time slot, so it’s better value if you’re doing a grocery shop anyway.

To find cheap DVDs near you, log on to Tesco.com’s grocery section, then go to ‘home & pet’ to browse.

If you do find any 1p dvds and add them to your shopping, if they are not in stock and you allow a substitute they will price match what they send you to the 1p

It's not the full list of what I get, but here's a selection. Just go to DVDs in the Homeware section for them all - I get 19 pages, and it's just a matter of scrolling through for the cheapies - prices are changing though - I got The Fantastic 4:Rise of the Silver Surfer last Tuesday for £3 - now it's £5.

    The War Bride £1
    Terminator £2
    Terminator 2 £3
    Terminator 3 £3
    Terminator Salvation £7
    Twister £2
    Dante's Peak £2
    Walk In The Clouds £3
    Alvin and the Chipmunks £3
    Animal Farm £1
    Blade Trinity £2
    Brewsters Millions/Uncle Buck double £3
    Broken Arrow £2
    Crocodile Dundee £3
    Death Becoms Her £2
    Evolution £2
    Grease £3
    Hairspray £3
    Herbie £3
    Night at The Museum £3
    Stepmom £2
The Grinch Who Stole Christmas £3
A few kids ones (HIT mostly) for £2.50

You probably won't find them significantly cheaper on their own, but it is worth looking into the boxsets if you're buying a series (or part). I was going to pick up a couple of X-men and the first Fantastic 4 last week - £3 each at Tesco - but there's a boxset with all 3 X-men, F4, Elektra and Daredevil for less than £10 at Amazon right now.

Also worth a look in Sainsburys as they have similar deals right now - I've picked up Space Chimps for £2, and the 2DVD of Over The Hedge for £3 recently.
