One of their agents come around our area every 2 weeks with their books and I feel awful never ordering anything as he is a lovely wee man, always in a suit and tie trying to earn an extra couple of pound. I would think, as some have already said, its not worth your while xx0

Depends.. if you have to pay for books etc (which I think you do but it could have changed since I looked into it) then I wouldn't do it. A lot of people don't put them out or even throw them away.
Betterware didn't charge for books (but they might do now) so I did that instead, mind you that was about 15 years ago and I only did it a few months, wanted the exercise as well as a bit of pocket money. I did it up till Christmas then gave it up (wasn't gonna keep going out in all weathers dropping books, picking up soaking wet books, delivering orders & collecting money.
You have to put in a lot of work for quite a small amount of commission with these types of jobs so I wouldn't recommend it but if you really want to give it a go then do one where you don't have to pay anything out for books/stationery etc then at least you have nothing to lose but your time.
Also people are just not spending much at the moment and a lot of the things they sell are available cheaper somewhere else so I really think it would be harder nowadays to get a reasonable amount of orders.0
