are there any wines currently on 3 for 2 ? , last time they had the 25% off, the till took the 25% off the total then took off the 3 for 2 discount ;-) I got quite a few 6 bottles for around £14, might have to take a look tomorrow

Am I missing something?

The special offers on the wine are a lot below 25%. For example, calculating the "Los Nucos Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 - Case of 12" @ £44.91 down from £53.89 - the reduction is 16.5%.

I went through to the checkout expecting a reduction at that point - but no changes

Can anybody explain where the 25% wine reduction is?

Scrolled down on the Wine page which says "All wine 25% off" and found the following -"Prices shown are discounted and no further discount will apply at checkout. Higher prices applied for at least 28 days online. Prices for South American wines were subject to a 25% discount between 1 and 14 February 2010."

Hardly any poor wines at M & S, as you'd expect. You have to be quick though, most of the best deals disapear quickly when they do this 25% offer. Think the 25% off is off the full price, some might have already had a discount applied.

Best deal on whats left at the moment is the Balbi Shiraz Viognier 2009. Was highly recommended by the Times when it was £7 a bottle, now its a little more than £3. Add in 5% Topcashback, free delivery code and its a bargain I couldn't ignore.
