i have a car with welcome ive had it for 2 years and 2 months the payments are getting had to keep up with
does anyone know what will happen if i cancel the direct debit
can they take the car
can i give the car back
will they charge me more money
i herd somewere that they cant take the car back
if you stop the payments
plus the company have gone into liquidation
any help will be good
i just dont want to pay the company any more of my money
ive also got a loan with them so the total money each month to them is £330 each month:mad:

If you cancel the DD they will slap lots of charges and additional interest on to your debt. And then chase you for the full amount.
Look out your original agreement which should detail any terms regarding reposession of the car and the additional fees that will be incurred as a consequence of late payment/non payment.
I'm sorry to say that if you took out the finance with them then you agreed to the terms & conditions within the agreement so the comment i just dont want to pay the company any more of my money its not really about what you want but about your obligations.
If you are struggling to meet your debt repayments you may want to work out a detailed income & expenditure statement and post it on the 'debt free wannabe' section of the forum for advice on suitable options.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
you have to of paid over a 3rd of the total agreement for them not to be able to take the car, however with a court order they can. You need to get debt advice to resolve the issue0
