not really, for it to stick you need to pay a nominal value - even 1p or another agreed amount will do....even a biscuit if the seller agrees.....however, its different if its 0p....one thing that will help though....if you have an printed invoice that was sent with the order, check the amount - if it states 0p then Maplin dont stand a chance as they have accepted the offer in print.......
i successfully managed to get 10 free digi 1.3 million pixels cameras free 2 years ago and the bully boy tactics from the seller didnt work as I have printed proof (invoice with orders) that they had accepted my offer of 0p for each cameraStevie Coppell's record breaking blue and white royal army - championship winners 2005-60 -
Maplin seem to have put in some sort of fix to stop this happening again.
If you look here:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=a21fw
you'll find there's a £0 misprice. But once you get to checkout it turns into a whopping £10000 (exc VAT)!

It's up to £120 now - they've presumably noticed (it'd be pretty simple to flag up when a £0 item gets added to a basket) but I think that, as above, if they've noticed that these things occasionally happen then they'll start to take steps to prevent it..0

You have to look a little harder to find the £0.0
