mY PARTNER MADE A VERY PAINFUL AGREEMENT WITH THE CSA LAST YEAR TO PAY OFF HIS ARREARS. WE HAVE MANAGED JUST ABOUT UP UNTIL NOW.
NOW THAY ARE BACK AGAIN SAYING THEY ARE GOING BACK ON THIS AGREEMENT AND WANT THE MONEY NOW.
WE HAVEN'T GOT IT AND QUITE FRANKLY AT OUR WITS END DEALING WITH IT.
THIS HAS CAUSED NO END OF PROBLEMS FOR US MAINLY FINANCIALLY, BUT IN OUR RELATIONSHIP TOO.
THEY PHONED TO GET THE MONEY, £900, BUT I'VE TOLD MY PARTNER TO ASK FOR THE REQUEST IN WRITING AND NOT TO DEAL WITH IT OVER THE PHONE ANYMORE.
COULD THEY POSSIBLY HAVE PICKED A WORSE TIME TO DO THIS.
WHEN WILL THIS EVER END.

Refer this to Complaints, in writing of course with any documentary evidence you have of the adherement to the agreement you initially made with the CSA, of course send everything recorded delivery and keep Royal Mail barcodes, printing off signature, when received at CSA Office. You could also involve your MP, their is a Parliamentary hotline MP's use regarding CSA, but some MP's are more helpful than others, opposition tend to be more useful.
If they ring you again, get full name of person phoning, make a log of all calls, dates, times etc, and iinclude this in correspondence/complaint, I would tell them if they ring you, that MP now involved, and you have complained that they have gone back on original agreement, and see what they say. NACSA are also helpful in cases like these, cost you £50 subscription.0 -
I am sorry to here of the problems that they are making for you, but you are not alone in this, if it helps.
You have to remember that they are not bound by any agreement that they make! They also have no duty of care to abide by. This means that the agreements that they make are not worth the paper that they are written on, sorry to have no good news for you!0 -
