CONGRATULATIONS!!! :j
While many of the CC companies are being so helpful and raising your limit. would it be worth trying for a 0% balance transfer card? You could use the checker on the main site to see what your chances are first. Then you could at least feel like things are going down quicker. You have to start to finish.

Bit of a setback this month, Eon have doubled our electricity and gas from £77 a month to £142 a month!!! I rang but they say that this will be based on useage over the next 6 months - and its going to be a cold winter....... Still soldiering on! I have sent letters out to the CC companies now asking for them to reduce the interest rates, this should be worth a try rather than ringing. I am nervous when OH starts maternity leave as this will leave us with nothing once she gets reduce monthly income. We are 100% up to date with everything and have been for 18 months now. We never use credit, its all cash or debit cards. We haven't used CC since we got rid of our business two years ago. We are happy planning the new arrival, but at the back of our minds all the time is money worries....There seems to be so much you need and it all costs money, but we have found some good Ebay bargains so nearer the time we know we can get things at a fraction of the cost of new. The debts are still going down, but slowly. We pay soooo much interest every month we must be keepiong the UK economy afloat. It still hacks us of that there are so many 0% CC deals about and we are paying 29% on pretty much all the cards and can't get any reductions. I applied for one a week or so ago and was turned down, so no more applications this year or the credit file will look worse. Still seems like one step foward two steps back at times, but we are still ploughing on!!Debts as of June 2012 - £68,986.35Now £27,470.20 :T57% of debts cleared:beer:0
